Centrestage was created in 1982 by Anahita Dastoor, an experienced teacher in Drama, Communication Skills and Spoken English. She envisioned the immense benefits that children derive from these three suites.

Centrestage is not only about motivating students to learn, but teaching them how to learn, and doing so in a manner that is relevant, meaningful, and memorable. We believe that teaching is about passion and conveying that passion to our students.

Centrestage addresses the skills that benefit children’s education and development in five general areas: kinaesthetic skills, drama and theatre skills, thinking skills, intra-personal skills, and interpersonal skills.

Academic gains are not only the benefits, it improves self-confidence, better public speaking skills, and the ability to speak confidently in front of a group.

At Centrestage learning is fun!

Since its inception, “Centrestage with Anahita Dastoor” is happy to be affiliated with Trinity College London.

About Trinity

Trinity College London is an international examination board that has been providing assessments since 1877. With a rich heritage of academic rigour and a positive, supportive approach to assessment, they provide recognized and respected qualifications in a unique spectrum of communicative skills – from music, drama and arts activities to English language – at all levels. Each year over 6,00,000 candidates in over 60 countries take a Trinity assessment and their international network is growing fast.

Trinity exams and assessments are designed to help student’s progress. They inspire learners and mark their achievement at each stage of their development and at all levels of competence. Their exams focus on assessing skills and how effectively the candidates can apply what they have learnt, not just on knowledge for its own sake. We also encourage candidates to bring their own choices and interests into our exams – this motivates students and makes the assessment more relevant and enjoyable.

Trinity exams are internationally recognized and fully accredited by Ofqual (Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation) and other education authorities in many countries around the world.
